I had never been to this restaurant before, but I decided to give it a try — and friends, it was the best decision I could’ve made! The food, the service, the atmosphere — everything was absolutely top-notch. The girl who served us was amazing, so kind and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Sabor restaurant on April 17, 2025, for my daughter’s birthday and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The ambience was inviting, perfectly complementing the exquisite dishes we indulged in. Our meal featured a delightful array of selections including the Grilled Octopus, which was tender and flavourful, showcasing the chef's expertise in seafood. The Lobster Paella and Chicken Paella were both outstanding, rich in authentic flavours and cooked to perfection. The Peri Peri Chicken added a spicy, savoury kick that balanced our meal wonderfully. The quality of service was amazing. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, enhancing our dining experience with their thoughtful recommendations and prompt service. Overall, I would rate Sabor restaurant as excellent. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch culinary adventure with impeccable service.

As many have mentioned this place is great, went here for our 10th anniversary just to get away and enjoy ourselves. Got the seafood platter course, the clams and muscles were delicious it was cooked perfectly and so juicy when you bit into it, and so easy to remove from the shells iykyk. The sauce it came in was so delicious, not salty and yet to creamy perfect to dip with the hot fluffy baguette that came with it. Their famous lobster risotto was perfectly chewy and the little bit of lobster pieces were just so delicious. The scallops were exceptionally cooked to perfection, with a nice crust on the top and bottom while still juicy in the middle. My wife especially loved the pimento aioli that elevated piri piri prawns taste. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly, and I personally think it went great with the pimento aoili instead of the butter. The calamari was fantastic with the mixed greens and so refreshing with the cucumber aioli. The service was great, it was just quick enough between each course and enough time for us to chat and enjoy what we were eating as we looked forward to the next dish. Pamela was our waitress and was exceptionally detailed in describing each dish as it came out, very tentative and quick to get what we needed. The other staff were awesome as well, water was always full and we didn't have to wait long for anything.

Unreal experience. This is an absolute MUST try restaurant. We were visiting the city and made reservations here because of the great reviews. We were blown away at the gorgeous high class atmosphere, professional yet down to earth service and AMAZING food. Start to finish we were taken care of in such a beautiful way. Adrian was our server and he did a spectacular job of making our night so incredibly special. We chose the special which included 3 appetizers, a beautiful catch of the day main and a taste of three beautifully presented desserts. Paired with incredible wine and americanos with dessert. This was an experience we will never forget from start to finish. We have never chosen or particularly enjoyed seafood in general, but that all changed tonight!! Prawns, calamari, mussels, clams - all the most delicious things I’ve ever had. I’m now a seafood lover ... but probably only from Sabor! Our main was a combo of Arctic char, cod and lobster risotto. Moist and perfectly cooked fish, lovely crispy skin on the char... and the lobster risotto left me speechless!! Unbelievably balanced, rich and creamy. The desserts. Goodness. They definitely finished strong here! Paired with a great americano... and prompt and attentive service start to finish. These guys know how to make your time not only delicious but special and meaningful. If you’re reading this. Make a reservation now, I promise you won’t regret it.

Love going to this fabulous and delicious. All time favourite! Fresh, tasteful, delicious, generous and incredibly satisfying food! They have vegetarian options as well. ! Their fresh fruit juice, desserts and black teas are so good.

We had Sabor to ourselves for a family wedding at Sabor near the end of December. Everything about the event and the meal was exceptional. The staff were very accommodating, from giving the bride privacy to prepare and allowing us our choice of dining areas. The food was incredible--among other delights we had prawns, scallops, gnocchi, tenderloin steak, sea bass, and a lovely collection of desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was absolutely top-notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special event!

It had been a while since I visited the downtown Sabor, but I just had the pleasure of dining there again—and it did not disappoint. While the main dining room remains impressive, we were seated in the refreshed “boardroom” section, now featuring low-back leather club chairs and a dark, warm, cozy ambiance. It was perfect for a relaxed but elevated dinner. We had to book early (5:15 p.m.)—the next available Friday night reservation wasn’t until 8:15, which says a lot about how in-demand this place still is. The service was immaculate. I recognized our server from another establishment and she was just as lovely as I remembered—attentive, warm, and completely in control even though my dinner companion was a little... all over the place. She handled it all with grace and professionalism. Drinks arrived quickly, orders were taken with care, and every interaction felt thoughtful—not just from our server but from the entire team. I would hear their banter with care-but without hovering. One server offered to take my coat, and many asked their guests if they were new and or shared a bit of Sabor’s story. It genuinely felt like they’re making an effort to reintroduce themselves to diners—whether you’re a longtime guest or walking in for the first time. The food was good, not great—solid four stars. At this price point, I expect to be blown away for a five. What pushed the overall rating to five stars was the exceptional service. I had the mixed paella, which was probably one of the better-value items on the menu. Also ordered the mixed bread with duck and chicken confit mousse—delicious. My dinner mate’s steak and scallops both looked (and smelled) fantastic. Not typical hospitality but certainly welcoming. Yes, the prices are a little on the high side—but for a special night out, it’s worth it. Great food, even better service, and a space that feels refreshed and familiar.

Wow. Had dinner for the first time. What a wonderful choice. Our server and the manager both recommended the family style meal. So much food and everything was incredible. The food is so fresh, perfectly cooked (I hate overcooked seafood) and so flavourful! Very friendly and attentive service, so helpful and understanding with our newbie questions. Can't wait to visit again.
